OWWW!!! $#*%!

Well, I got my nose repierced as a last minute escape from the boredom of today. I feel really bad about it though, because I didn't make it back in time for church. So much for the great adventure of the FCC. I am still so glad I got my nose redone, it's been closed up since I think April, and I really missed it, it was like a part of my identity. I felt like it was representative of my move away from home, my anti-Bakersfield banner of freedom or something. Pretty funny though since I got it DONE in Bako. That aside, losing my nose stud was like losing my super-awesome-Twiggy powers. I'm back with a vengeance now, or at least back to my normal East Bay look. I'm not a superficial person in the least and I hate stereotypes. That's not what this is about. It's a personal growth marker for me and a piece of early HNU nostalgia at the same time. Get it? Nose-talgia! Oh I kill myself. Bad jokes, whatever, I'm a teacher- my jokes are supposed to be horrid. I had a kick-ass time even though I went by myself, since I got it done at Zebra in Berkeley. You can't be bored there, there's too much to see, smell, etc. I was playing a game with myself to beat the clock since my dumb butt decided to leave HNU at 3:30. It takes 15 minutes to get to BART, 15 minutes to wait for the train and then 20 to get to Berkeley. Then it took me 10 minutes figuring out where I was because I'd only been to Berkeley twice. I had to be back at the BART by at least six-ish because the last bus for HNU leaves at 7:10. I was so impressed with the efficiency of service at Zebra, I totally recommend it to anyone. A friend of mine who's a piercer recommended it to me, and I see bumper stickers everywhere. I forgot to grab mine but meh, I'm sure to be back once my nose heals to buy some cuter studs.
Bobby decided to surprise me with an afternoon call, so I had some company on my trek up the hill to Telegraph. I love him so much! I thought of wearing the beautiful turquoise skirt he bought me but I didn't have any thing to go with it. College students aren't known for getting laundry done on time. You'd think I'd be above THAT stereotype. Anyway, the Easy Mac is beeping (yes another college student quality, mmm microwave!) so I'm going to chow down!
